ASSOCIATION AIMS click here for more details

The new Association will run many junior competitions at all levels in Yorkshire and training schools throughout the year. It is intended not to be always serious and there will be a number of fun events – so all levels of player can enjoy chess – with a laugh too. Chess can get a bit too serious some times!

There will be greater emphasis on juniors aged 12 and under (Year 7 and below), but it is for all juniors up to the age 18 (as at 1 September 2009).
